What We Do
Supporting Others
Good & New Charity Shop opened in 2008 by a group of concerned cancer patients who were also friends who had walked the struggling path of cancer together and decided they would do something positive for Donegal. The charity provides free transport for cancer patients travelling to Galway. We also provide part funding, through the Letterkenny University Hospital for accommodation. Good and New also runs a drop-in centre which provides support for people and their families affected by cancer by providing high quality evidence based information in an extremely welcoming environment.
If you, any member of your family or any person you may know is suffering from cancer and does not know what is available for them or what direction to take this is where we at Good & New can help. Good & New is here for friendly advice and all services are free, including the bus service. If you are in need of advice then just drop into us and you will see the great things we provide for the people of Donegal.
We provide a free Bus Service to Donegal Cancer Patients availing of treatment in Galway. We do advise you to bring a companion with you for the journey. It is essential to book your place by calling 0749113437
